TerraViva Sustainable Landscape Approach (TerraViva project)The GCBC’s second Annual Evidence Review presents key research insights from the current cohort of funded projects between April 2023 and March 2024. It details the progress made by the GCBC programme towards its goals of preserving biodiversity, improving climate outcomes and protecting vulnerable communities, and highlights the direction for future evidence delivery.
To reflect on the progress and achievements of the GCBC so far, the “Evidence Synthesis Report” was created to present the findings of the 15 projects funded by the GCBC in its first year of operation and exhibits the positive impacts that safeguarding nature can have for climate and people.

This Research Strategy sets out the vision through the theory of change and ambition for a systems approach (Section 2) for the GCBC programme to ensure that new scientific evidence, knowledge and partnerships developed support the poor directly or indirectly, with improved livelihoods and resilience to climate change, while sustainably managing and using biodiversity.
